035 Acid Vs. E-CR Fiber Glass Test ; 11/23/2022
Conducted by: Dr. McAllister
Authorized by: Dr. Natsume (Head Researcher) (As part of my project)

Equipment/Material(s) Used: 1x Syringe, 1x Drop of 035 Acid, 1x Desk, 1x Magnifying Glass, BCU for Acid Handler
Personnel Involved: Dr. Mcallister (Me), SID Lt. Brannon, Dr. Golzar (Supervisor), Lt. Athaba
SCP(s) or UA(s) Involved: SCP-035 Acid

Purpose of Test:
To determine rather or not E-CR Fiber Glass is a viable material for Project "Algorith" (See File: Project "Algorith"
Hypothesis:
I hypothesize that the E-CR Fiber glass will work against 035 acid. Due to the fact that it specifically made to be acid resistant.
Test Procedures:
1: I will request SID to Lower R wing, they will bring 035 acid.
2: SID will arrive and put on BCU/Hazmats (As fiber glass and 035 acid isn't safe to touch with your bare hands)
3: SID will load the acid into the syringe, dropping it on the glass
4: I will observe the results
5: After testing, Both the acid and fiber glass will be disposed of
Observations:
The SID applied the 035 acid to the top of the E-CR fiber glass, It made a low hissing noise upon contact. It didn't do any serious damage for several minutes. When it was removed we did see a small black burn mark typical for acid affected items however.
Analysis:
The E-CR Fiberglass proved much more effective than its regular Fiberglass counterpart. It will prove to be an excellent material for the project, being both bulletproof AND acid resistant.
Conclusion:
SID Disposed of the 035 acid and E-CR Fiber Glass without incident. My hypothesis was proved correct, The glass stood up to the acid well.
Additional Notes:
E-CR Fiber glass is a good enough material for Project "Algorith", We also tried ballistic glass as well (See Log: 035 Acid Vs. Ballistic Glass for Further details on that).
