Area-36 Articles of Conduct

THIS MESSAGE IS FOR AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY, IF YOU RECEIVED THIS MESSAGE ON ACCIDENT REPORT IT TO THE SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR IMMEDIATELY. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN TERMINATION OF FOUNDATION EMPLOYMENT.

Attempting access beyond this point without necessary clearance is grounds for termination of Foundation employment and cancellation of all educational, medical, retirement, and mortality benefits. In the event of unauthorized access, this console will become inoperable. Security personnel will be dispatched to arrest you and escort you to a detention cell for interrogation. Attempting to access this file from any computer not connected to the Foundation Intranet will result in immediate termination regardless of clearance.

Articles of Conduct

1. It is prohibited to destroy or damage foundation property outside of reason or accident.

2.  Practice proper weapon safety and handling at all times when holding a firearm.

3. Always notify proper personnel if you witness someone breaking any Articles of Conduct or Ethics of Conduct. This should either be a member of Intelligence Services or a Security Operational Command member.

4. Do not harm SCPs in any situation outside of proper containment procedure, or if given explicit permission from level 4 personnel.

5. Do not take weapons from the armory unless given authorization from personnel of the equivalent rank of Lieutenant or higher OR there is a significant threat to the facility.

6.  Do not detain any personnel unless the person in question has broken a facility Article of Conduct or Ethic of Conduct, or in the case of an emergency.

7. Always close the facility doors behind you if you are the last person in the group

8. Do not abuse any SCPs or other anomalies kept within the facility.

9. Do not breach any SCPs or other anomalies kept within the facility.

10. All Foundation personnel should treat each other with basic respect and professionality.

11. Foundation personnel must not drink alcoholic beverages on duty.

12. Foundation personnel may not smoke anywhere within the facility outside of designated smoking areas.

13. Foundation personnel should never abuse any medicinal substances supplied within the facility, and should never bring on area any medicinal material from outside of the facility.

14. Your uniform should always be well-kept and clean and follow basic standards of health. If you need a replacement uniform or your uniform cleaned, there are designated places to do so.

15. No unauthorized modifications are allowed on the uniforms of any personnel. This includes pins, patches, or other unapproved pieces of additional apparel over/on your uniform. Authorization for any uniform modifications must be given by the respective branch leader.

16. No forms of assault are tolerated against other Foundation personnel outside of reason or specific circumstances.

17. No personnel are to have unauthorized relations or communication with members of any foreign Group of Interest or organization outside the Foundation. 

18. No personnel are to go into restricted areas without the authorization of the owner of that area.

19. No personnel will be allowed on the surface alone unless permitted by a Level 4 personnel.

20. If any member of security no matter the branch fails or refuses to do their duties, they will be arrested for dereliction of duty.

21. Level 3 personnel and above may get regular drinks from SCP-294.

Ethics of Conduct

1. Don’t abuse any SCPs or any UAs during or after tests, unless it's a routine part of containment such as 076-2 or 682.

2. SID Specialists or other personnel should not be handling the cleaning of SCP-035’s acid outside of an emergency situation. Class-D personnel equipped with a hazmat should be used preferably during routine cleaning.

3. Before any tests are conducted by Research, the Testing Requirements must be met and all proper personnel and material should be ready for the test. This is especially important in regards to Keter and Euclid class testing.
