Character Naming Guide

Hello!

Whether you just had a character PKed, or just found the server, you will need to name a character. but many people don't know the servers naming conventions, or can't think of ideas. this guide is designed to help you name a character well.

First off, make sure the name is sensible, don't name your character after a random object or place, it must be a real name. Sydney Johnson is good, Chicago Sword isn't.

Next, if the previous step eliminated your idea, try thinking of common names, like john, William, David, Sarah, Jessica, Joshua, Andrew, lucy, et cetera. if you want your name to be more individual, consider adding modifiers like -son or -s, or short/longer versions, like john to Johnathan, or William to will, or even alternate spellings, like Jon or Jaxon.

Now, be sure to check if your character's name is the same as a popular celebrity or figure. plenty of people have had good names removed because it was the same as a famous actor or sports player. Also, ensure that your character's name doesn't have the same last name as one of your other characters, or a notable character of another person, IE captains, head researchers, etc.

But don't forget to have fun with it! you can spice your name up without being ridiculous with uncommon names like, Fox, Toby, Scotty, or Gerald.

Finally, check your Name is capitalized, and you're good to go!
