[BACKGROUND HISTORY]: 
Dr. Jarvis Hardman was recruited to the SCP Foundation as a Clinical Psychologist because of their background working with individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illnesses (SPMIs), such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression, and complex post-traumatic stress disorder. Outside of SPMI work, Dr. Hardman has experience providing clinical mental health services to primarily adult populations with comorbid mental health diagnoses and substance use such as alcohol and opioid use. Dr. Hardman brings valuable mental health skills that can support SCP Foundation areas housing Keter-class SCPs to provide appropriate counseling and a new perspective on Research.
