Hello! I'm sure a lot of you have met me (and my antics), so I'll keep it brief. I'm Carlos Horno, but I usually just go by Horno, or if you're feeling funny, "Horny". I joined Concordia Gaming back in 2019 during High School and staffed there for a bit, as well as led GenSec as yours truly, Lieutenant Horno! I unfortunately was too wrapped up in getting my life in order to have met any of you Parallax folk, but if it makes you feel any better I was still close friends with its founder. I enjoy technical things like cars, computers, firearms, etc. I love music, both listening and performing (I was a percussionist in High School). Any banter I do or if I say something "I'm going to murder you" or something similarly threatening, don't worry, I'll let you know if it's genuine or not. 90% of the time, I'm just fooling with ya or I blurted it out cause of tourettes. I also enjoy other games like Terarria or TF2, so if server is dead because of late nights or something, just ask to play something and I'll usually accept. Otherwise, that's the gist of it.

Experience with staffing:

I have plenty of experience with ULX commands and the logs that the server uses.
I started staffing around 12 years old I think, doing DarkRP servers. I will only list the defunct servers as to not throw any used names out there.
DredgeRP, ObeyRP, ObeyRP (Reboot), SinisterRP, Concordia Gaming SCPRP
Any other servers I've staffed are still active to my knowledge, however they are all DarkRP aswell. I got a lot of my SeriousRP experience from Concordia.

I will mostly be on during peak hours, but its all subject to change due to my college classes and volatile work schedule, though it's safe to assume it will be similar to how it is now.

What could you do to help the community and/or the server?:

Cool event ideas and a staff member that's not afraid to act goofy sometime, I mean it is Garry's Mod that we're playing. If it wasn't, "Shaggy" wouldn't exist. ;)

Name 5 Server Rules stated on the Rules Mega Doc and explain the meaning of them:

LootRP must be moderated by staff - This one is a bit tricky to new people, and even some vets. LootRP is the act of taking loot from someones body or corpse, usually when they do not have access to drop it using the XRP inventory. This rule ensures an RPMod and make sure you reliably and reasonably obtain things from people that you otherwise couldn't, and also makes certain you get what you should. For example, if you stab somebody to death and try and take their uniform, the uniform is going to be bloody and cut up, so that is what you would receive.

Rule 12 - Good old rule 12, where would we be without it? Simply put, don't use emojis while in character, and don't spam them in // chat either.

If something is not in the rules, or not clear enough, staff have the final say. If you feel their verdict is unfair or unreasonable, make an abuse report - Pretty self explanatory. Just because it's not stated explicitly in the MOTD, does NOT mean it's okay to do. This can include loopholes in rules, or doing something that is common sense dumb. Staff have say on it, and if you disagree to the extent you feel its abuse, make a report.

Jumping/Bunny Hopping whilst in combat is not allowed - Also pretty simple. When in combat, stay on the ground unless you have a valid reason to jump around, like an obstacle of some kind.

NO ERP - No kissy kissy, sex, any of that degenerate shit. No. Big no no.

Follow COC - Go up the chain of command. Talk to the next rank up and listen to the next rank up, and higher. Pretty simple.

Security may not go on surface unless an RP Scenario takes place - Don't go on surface unless you have a valid RP reason to, also very simple.

Close doors behind you!!!!!! - Close them. Close the doors close the doors close the doors close the door. It lets you know if something back is breaking them down or stops 173 from fucking you up :)

Area director may use the control room with a valid RP reason - The area Director may only use the control room if he has a reason to do so, such as check camera footage for something important.

Foundation are not to harm SCPs (Except when called for for containment procedure) - Don't hurt SCPs for no reason, or you're a loser. Simple as.


What would you do if you saw a Security or Researcher on the surface?:

Ask for their reason to be up there. If invalid, send them back.
