_______________________________________________________
Date of Incident: 02/08/2023
Personnel Involved: Senior Officer Ludacris, Security Lieutenant Athaba, Unknown Engineer(Disguised D class), Vault Manager Citadel
SCP/UA Involved: SCP 280
Description of Incident:
Whilst dealing with a D class breach, which resulted in myself, Lt Athaba, being wounded, reports started coming in on a mysterious pair of eyes appearing within the facility, namely HCZ. An engineer approached me as I was stationed near vault, having been attacked by a D class disguised as a researcher. This engineer stated he had seen a pair of eyes staring at him in the darkness down a hallway. I responded with the engineer, finding no eyes at the time but discovering a badly mutilated corpse, identified as an STF member. At this same time SSO Ludacris radioed in, having found another corpse in his section of HCZ. Around this time is when the Engineer(likely the D class in disguise) drew my attention to the eyes, which quickly moved out of view. Shortly after, the SSO joined us, and the lights cut out.
As we made our way through HCZ, checking first on 087 to insure it was secure, we discovered a new corpse, that of an unknown Junior Security Officer. It is unknown how he got into HCZ or if 280 had brought him there somehow. 280, at the moment unidentified, began stalking our group. After a few attempts, with us managing to ward it off, it snuck up on the engineer as we were discussing how best to proceed, tearing him apart. It was at this moment that I remembered what the Vault Manager had mentioned to me of SCP 280, which had breached during the 610 incident. Myself and the SSO moved to its CC, discovering the lights were non functional. At this time 280 appeared behind the SSO and attacked him, severely injuring SSO Ludacris. It then began stalking me as I attempted to fix the floodlights, eventually discovering the heavily damaged electrical box outside the CC itself. I briefly examined the box before realizing I would not be able to fix it myself, with 280 closing in and my lack of electrical repair knowledge. 280 closed in, and I ran for the generator room, managing to get the lights back on which caused 280 to retreat.
Afterwards, I sent SSO Ludacris off to get urgently needed medical attention, as he had heavy lacerations to his face and body. An engineering LT came on area and, under mine and Vault Manager Citadel's supervision in case of a repeat show from 280, repaired the electrical box, restoring function to the lamps. I informed Citadel of the incident, before leaving to get medical treatment for my gunshot wounds.
Results of Incident:
Severe injuries and potential psychological damage to SSO Ludacris, gunshot wounds received by myself, LT Athaba, and one dead D class disguised as an engineer. I will give that D class this however, once the SCP began showing itself, he immediately got Security involved to control it, leading to his own death at its hands. SCP 280 remains breached however, and will need to be lured back to its CC somehow. I also spoke to Citadel about the rubble and discovered that a UA was stored on the other side. This needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY, before something happens involving it. The rubble needs to be cleared and a team sent in. I also recommend a psych eval for SSO Ludacris and potentially myself, considering the trauma we both endured during 280's attack.
