Presently, the Micro-HID is portable and rechargeable. There is a magnetic-operating lithium ion battery with a wattage of 50kw that can recharged with a simple industrial plug, as well as a coolant system that will allow the machine to fire without melting itself.

Presently, the Micro-HID does have handles to utilize in carrying it, and despite it’s appearance I can promise that it is positioned to properly utilize the Micro-HID’s center of gravity. [Any person operating the Micro-HID must roll a 50+ in order to lift the machine, does not apply if the machine is stationary on a stand such as a table or the ground. It weighs 40kg, so liftable, but very awkward]

Presently, the Micro-HID can only be fired once per charge, as it requires the channeling of nearly 40kw to fire, so hold onto your hats and stand back. [Any person operating must roll 50+ in constitution or strength to not be thrown back by any recoil or back-blast if it is stationary, and 80+ when carrying it, a very bad roll may cause operator to be thrown against the wall behind them. This applies to operator no matter if they are carrying the machine or not.]

Presently, the Micro-HID is housed within the R&D Station, and is not to be moved without authorization of Head Researcher+, Dr. Silver, or Engineering LT Wozzer. If politely asked, Dr. Silver and I will grant permission, but that does not mean that being impolite immediately loses permission.

And yes, it does have a safety.

So why exactly are we amnesticizing people for simply viewing a dangerous weapon? It isn't composed of anything crazy anomalous or something, right?

While I don’t completely agree with using amnesticization so readily I do understand in this instance as knowledge of a highly dangerous weapon being spread around puts us at risk of attacks by: GOIs, POIs, Unknown Anomalies, etc.

I appreciate your concern for my policies regarding the Micro-HID, and I also thank Rurik for elaborating for me. Yes, the administration of amnestics don't need to be instant, but I'd rather have no trainees or D-Classes who could be let off or escape at a moment's notice knowing about the ultra-powerful weapon that, with V2 and potentially future builds, can absolutely decimate the foundation in the hands of a GOI, POI, UA, or any other sort of being that is against the foundation. Still, I do agree that just anyone who views it shouldn't be amnesticized. I will check in with STF or IS to see if I can store it inside of Vault for the time being.
