When dealing with a surface threat there is a set of Rules of Engagement that every member of Eta-18 must abide by. Below they will be listed by GOI and by UA

GOI ROE

1. The first rule of engagement is to know the territory lines, if these lines are crossed you are to give a minimum of 2 warning before engagement is approved. If an Alpha+ is on this may be limited to one warning before engagement can be granted by the Alpha.

2. You must warn them over radio using /pub usually along the lines of "You are trespassing leave now" or "Identify yourselves now or we will shoot" though the message is up to the discretion of the Agent or Alpha.

3. In the event of Raids the ROE usually will still apply as well as in Surface Wars.

4. There are certain variables that are required for a Code Purple to be called. These are usually trespassing and ignoring warnings, be it by human operative or the use of drones. You must warn them before having an alpha call a code purple and officially starting the Surface war.

5. Alpha is required to be on in order to call a code purple

6. The biggest rule of ROE is MAKING CONTACT BEFORE SHOOTING.

UA ROE

1. UAs are to be contained if at all possible never shot at first we are not the UNGOC.

2. If humanoid try to make contact via /pub

3. If these calls are ignored you must move in and attempt to make face to face contact and determine if containment is possible.

4. The ONLY time that termination of a UA is to be accepted is if approved by the MTF Command/Commander and or Site Director/Command

5. If a UA has breached communications its also to be followed that a Code Blue be called which means all radio communication must be halted, this applies to everyone

6. PRIORITIZE CONTAINMENT OVER TERMINATION
