# 31p7bz4x5Am0z_AjCombatRP works using a "Rock Paper Scissors" type system. When using a skill in combat, the reacting character cannot use the countered skill, instead needing to use the other two options potentially disrupting their character's build type.
Offensive counters Defensive.
Defensive counters Reckless.
Reckless counters Offensive.
For example, If a SID Specialist (which prefers Offensive Combat) attempts to tackle SCP-049 (which prefers Defensive Combat) using Offensive, SCP-049 is forced to react using Offensive or Reckless, forcing him to use a sub-optimal RollBonus in the action.
However, SCP-049 still has options! SCP-049 has a high Intimidation (Charisma) stat, allowing them to dissuade the SID Specialist from getting close without back-up!
