Purpose of Test

To determine if the control of SCP-912 can be transferred on a more permanent basis, if this method could work it could also open the possibility to issue a “termination” to SCP-912 from employment with the [REDACTED] Police Department if the need or desire ever arose.

Hypothesis

I believe giving a forged document from the [REDACTED] Police Department to transfer to another precinct or department as is the procedure to SCP-912 will cause SCP-912 to comply. As is currently the case SCP-912 when given the order to follow the commands of another group or person will either ignore the order or within an hour cease responding to orders from that group or person. The reason for this is unfortunately unknown, though I believe it can be circumvented by giving it an official document to transfer. This is done occasionally between departments during emergencies or shortages.

Test Procedures

Necessary security will be gathered, briefed, and outfitted before the test. The handler will retrieve SCP-912 and be brought to R-wing. SCP-912 will be given a prompt by the handler, then by the substitute handler to establish a control group. SCP-912 will then be given the transfer order. Then the handler and the substitute handler will attempt to give orders. If successful the substitute handler will walk around the facility giving orders until such time that it ceases and the time taken recorded.

Observations

SCP-912 was brought to the R-wing breakroom when the test began. The HRT Operative Floyd henceforth referred to as handler and GSU Kowarski henceforth referred to as substitute handler began the test and a control test was established.

The handler provided the orders to SCP-912, who took them and then promptly stored the document in their vest. The handler then gave orders which SCP-912 still complied with, providing a magazine in response to being told to get them a book. But when the substitute handler provided an order it was seemingly ignored. After four more unsuccessful attempts, the test was concluded.

Analysis

The results make it clear that my hypothesis was incorrect. While it is interesting that SCP-912 stored the orders it showed no care for the content of the document.

Conclusion

The test was unsuccessful however this is possibly due to some botched execution of the experiment on my part. It is regrettable as I forgot to give the orders to the handler beforehand which may have caused SCP-912 to disregard them beforehand however it's hard to say. I'm sure that orders given to the handler verbally and relayed to SCP-912 would still be accepted.

It is possible that since SCP-912 did not read the document it did not even know it had been given orders. However, I think our time would be better spent on other experimentation, but this experiment may be revisited if the need for greater control over SCP-912 ever arises.
