SCP Main Quality of Life Proposal

What is the suggestion?:

The main goal of this suggestion is to make all scps have much clearer roles in canon, all to have ways of breach. Using the information of my time as scps, which scps get the most play and community outlook I have designed a basic idea for the scp on how to give them a better time.

Part 1 - Canon: All SCPs will be considered Semi-Canon if breached during a event or entering into a canonical location. Semi-Canon means that any deaths by the SCP will be a injury based on the rp mods discretion. To combat this with issues, the SCP must be roleplaying and any signs of minge in attempt to harm the event will cause them to lose their whitelist.

Part 2 - breach timer: All scps will have a specific breach timer designed around their containment allowing the chance for all scps to have action if not careful.

263 - 30min: this one is a odd as the scp itself cannot breach however to play on this my idea is to bend the lore slightly for community enjoyment. Every 5min 263 will advert that cash or Ash is coming of break shortly until the 15min mark in which the host will begin to show signs of annoyance as they have no contestants. Every 5min after it will advert how the foundation announcement systems begin to go a bit static, until reaching 0min at which point 263 may use the foundation announcement systems to attempt to bring in contestants giving d class a escape reason

Rc - give contestant

049 - back to 15min

Able - 20min, Unstoppable breach

079 - 30min, every 10min gets to advert how cameras begin to skip or announcements go static for a second ect. At 30min rdc gets activated

Rc - enter his cc and each electrical server room and advert "rebooting security system"

082 - 10min +5 per additional d class past 1.

096 - 30min, every 10min may advert its pressure plates begin to show damage alerting SID.

Rc - have 096 removed and have sid or engineer use career knowledge roll of 50+ to fix the pressure plates.

106 - 30min, every 5min may advent how he awakens and his Sadistic hunger grows, at 10min advert how 106 is seen placing his hands on the floor of his containment cell as the necrotic substance of 106 begins to damage the CC.

Rc - before the breach, bring 106 a d class [it cannot leave its cc while being given the d class]. After breach, repair the damage [career roll of 50+] and use Femur Breaker

397 - 10min

457 - 20min, after 10min can breach the first set of doors in its cc requiring a career roll of 65+ to fix, after 20 both need a career roll of 65+ to fix.

Rc - give it fuel and use the sprinklers after

662 - 20min, every 5 min it may discribe how 662 requires a polish, after the 20min if no one has polished it, 662-1 may manifest at will in attempt to have someone polish the bell, if they refuse or accept and do not do so in 15min after accepting 662-1 will see this as a insult to his creator and attempt a assassination on the target before returning to looking for someone else to polish the bell.

Rc - go to 662 and advert you polished the bell

682 - 30min every 10min 682 adverts its hunger growing and how all of lhcz feels a angry rumble, increasing its d class request by 1 [up to max of d class on]. After 30min 682 may breach damaging the door requiring a career knowledge roll of 75+ to fix

Rc - give it x d class, or repair the door and use 999.

1048 - 15min, every 5 min can request either a friend to play with or Material for drawing.

Rc - give it a d class to play with or drawing supplies

1316 - 30min, every 10min adverts how 1316 is acting oddly, and is scratching at the wall. After 30min 1316 damages the power to the cc causing the door to open requiring a career roll of 50+ to fix

Rc - repair the scratches before it breaches 25+ career roll

1370 - same as 1316

How will it benefit the server?:

Give scp players more fun and engagement.

Editing to breach timers may be needed for other scps

I think that if the inevitable breach timers this would be a good alternative. I believe all scps that can breach should have a breach timer. (However i don't think 662 should have a breach timer at all.)

people have been crying about breach timers etc and not being able to have fun playing as SCPS right now, but the only issue i have is with 096 breach timer, when he breaches what's going to happen? how will he get out of his cell? he cannot open doors and would have to wait in his cell. A solution to this would be spawning a picture of his face around the facility. But to clarify I have no experience in coding or admin related things so i don't know if this would be to hard to make/have but still i would like to know. But over all this would seem very good for SCP players such as my self

I always love more canon SCP stuff, can't say no to that.

As for the breach timers, there are some weird choices, such as 049 going back to 15 minutes and 662 killing people that disrespect it (lol). I also think 30 minute breach timers should be avoided like the plague because expecting a player to stay in a box and wait for that long is such a blatant disrespect of that player's time.

May I suggest the join-suggestion of the breach timers (which includes requiring staff approval) I proposed here? SCP Breach Timer + SCP Flag Approval (noclip.me)
(Yes, this is the stuff in the MOTD I keep forgetting to remove...)

The 662 part can be revoked if no one wants it, yes it's not super immersive but it's a scp people like to play a lot so that's why I made it as immersive as possible.

As for canis, the 30min breach timers are for op scps that can easily kill many or escape easy and sadly even if it's a long time, players are choosing to do it and it balances having too many scps.

Your proposal for breach timers and staff approval was unliked by everyone and that's why didn't keep it, so idk why we would do it again.

We have decided to merge this suggestion with my previous trialed suggestion on breach timers, seen here: SCP Breach Timer + SCP Flag Approval (noclip.me)

SCPs will now require staff approval to start a breach timer and are considered semi-canon in terms of injuries and character interactions. Staff leaned towards my personal suggestion, but want to cherry pick some bits from yours as well, such as requiring Engineers for recontainment efforts.
