Attempting access beyond this point without necessary clearance is grounds for termination of Foundation employment and cancellation of all educational, medical, retirement, and mortality benefits. In the event of unauthorized access, this console will become inoperable. Security personnel will be dispatched to arrest you and escort you to a detention cell for interrogation. Attempting to access this file from any computer not connected to the Foundation Intranet will result in immediate termination regardless of clearance.

Preface

This document is to serve as a guideline for training of potential Senior Security Officers or SSOs for short. You will ask trainees the following questions, if they get it wrong explain to them in detail the correct answer. As the host of the training you may add or omit questions from these quizzes at your discretion. It is up to the trainer to determine whether a trainee is ready for SSO. It is highly recommended an introduction to the training is used in order to prepare the up-in-coming SSO for their role and the training.

Examples of why to remove a trainee:

Constant joke answers

Clearly not paying attention

Obviously unfit for higher Foundation employment

// No intention of serious roleplay

Keep in mind, this is meant to be a TRYOUT. They are expected to know this information in order to advance father in the foundation.

Strikes are to be handed out for wrong answers. Trainee are allowed to miss 2 questions per section, the missing of a third will warrant their failure.
“I don’t know” is an acceptable answer so long as they are taking the training seriously, however it is still worthy of a strike.

All questions in this document will be under the context of being an SSO.
Trainers may remove or add any questions or certain things as they see fit for the training.

// Before beginning, be sure to confirm participants know how to PM by asking all of them to send you a short message (!p [person] [message]), additionally check that they understand how the /me and /roll system work by asking them how and when they will be used.

General Knowledge

The purpose of this section is to determine how well the participant understands how to act while working for the foundation as well as determine if they understand their authority as an SSO. Be sure to inform your participants that all questions are to be answered from the perspective of an SSO.

Re-containment

For this section you will simply ask for re-containment procedures of every SCP found in LCZ. Here is a list:

SCP-173
Have 2 officers watch 173 while a 3rd stun batons it back to its cell.
Use a cage if it is in the HCZ or beyond.

SCP-263
Have 2 D-Class pick it up and bring it back to its cell.

SCP-294
Have 2 personnel carry SCP-294 back to its cell.

SCP-427
Pick it up and return it to its cell.

Act scared of something containable (like a banana) and then pick it up and return it to its cell.

SCP-2300-6/26/50/79
If it’s passive, tempt it back with materials or carry it back. If it’s angry, separate it from its other instances. Shoot it and return it to its cell.

SCP-2300 Artwork
Carry it manually to the incinerator
DO NOT DESTROY OR SAY YOU WILL DESTROY THE ARTWORK IN FRONT OF THEM.

D-Block

In this section you will be determining if the participants know how to behave in and around D-Block. Some common sense questions will also be sprinkled in.

What do you do if an SCP is in D-Block?
Answer: Lockdown D-Block and request extra security to D-Block to assist re-containment.

** Answer: D-Class should be detained and stripped of the contraband. If the D-Class resists further, hit them with less-lethal rubber rounds.

Should you discuss SCPs or GOIs within earshot of D-Class? ***
** Answer: No, however if required, you should be referring to their respective nicknames.

* This is a straight yes or no answer, make sure all answers are just either yes or no

** For these questions the trainee is with a level 3 personnel

*** Please make sure the trainee understands they may still refer to the SCPs as their respective names if needing to talk about them (ex. The Statue, Old Man, Dog, Doctor, etc.)

Heavy Containment Zone (HCZ)

It is important that they understand how to behave when confronted with SCPs from HCZ or LHCZ. Explain to them what they should do when faced with these SCPs:

SCP-019
Have 2 people carry it back and have 1 person shoot the instances that exit from it. DO NOT TIP OR SHOOT THE POT.
SCP- 019-2
Shoot them, bag the bodies and burn them.

SCP-035
Pick it up and place it into a containment cube. Return it to its cell, pick it back up and place it into the glass container. STRIP EVERYTHING EXCEPT A BCU/HAZMAT SUIT BEFORE DOING SO.
SCP-035 Host
Terminate and leave the room immediately. STAY OUT OF EYESIGHT AND ROOM.

SCP-049
Aim 2 weapons at him and get him to stop. Toss gloves to him and get him to put them on, and then cuff him. Return him to his cell. DO NOT SHOOT SCP-049.
SCP-049-2
Terminate all instances and burn the bodies.

SCP-076-2

Terminate it.

SCP-096
Place a bag over its head and cuff it. If it is enraged, do not get in its way. DO NOT LOOK AT ITS FACE.

SCP-106
Bring a D-Class to the cell, and place him into the femur breaker. Turn on the sound transmission and confirm SCP-106 is inside the facility. Once confirmed, hit the femur breaker (// Advert [FEMUR BREAKER!] )and wait for SCP-106 to re-enter. Then turn on the magnet suspension.

SCP-457
If it is large, use a fire extinguisher to a small flame and scare it back to its cell / Extinguish to a small flame and put it in a containment cube. DO NOT EXTINGUISH FULLY.

SCP-513
Wear earmuffs and carry it back to its cell by the clapper.

SCP-682
Shoot it until it’s incapacitated and then drag it back to its cell.

SCP-939
Tranquilize the last living 939 instance and drag it back to its cell. Any other instances may be shot.

SCP-1048
Strip it of any weapons and carry it back to its cell / Strip it of weapons and place it in a containment cube, then return it to its cell.
SCP-1048-A
Terminate it. If needed to be kept alive, cautiously approach with no more than four people, carefully pick it up, then set it in a cube.

Remind them that it is not their job to recontain these SCPs and they should only be dealt with if asked to assist, even then SSOs realistically should not be containing these alone. Some of these SCPs require special equipment.

Explain how to handle the following special SCP situations:

SCP-049 holds SCP-035
Aim 2 guns at SCP-049 and order him to put 035 into a containment cube. Then continue with standard containment procedures.

A D-Class drinks an anomalous cup from 294
D-Class is to be terminated if outside of testing.

A UA escapes the vault
Respond accordingly to the appropriate UA and follow superior rankings. Refrain from shooting UAs unless necessary.

A Keter class breaches the surface
Work with STF and TRT to re-contain the SCP.

Ending

At this point you may congratulate the participants on passing the SSO training. Explain to them that this now means they are eligible to enter the other branches. Explain to them that an SSO, their duties remain the same, however they are now a role model and are expected to be helping the lower ranks. Any leadership they show will increase their chances of being promoted to Security Sergeant.
Additionally, explain how Branch Shadowing works, and how to fill out a form if they wish to see a branch in action.

// At this point call an admin to give them their whitelists. Additionally, share with them the Discord Server link: https://discord.gg/XjaYdKawhC and explain that this is the primary communication platform where meetings are held.

Security Chief Horno - Still somehow alive

"How am I not dead yet??"

Vault Security Agent Muller - Alive

"Well, I got that promotion."
