TRT Incident Report #0013

Incident Date: 1/10/23

Hostile Unknown GOI forces infiltrated the facility sometime around 8:25 PM. Prior to the incident, Foundation Command managed to intercept an unknown communication confirming that at raid at the facility might happen the next day. Shortly after setting up defenses at the Cargo Area in Gate A, unknown creatures moved to attack Foundation Personnel while a thick fog set in. Hume levels spiked and the GOI forces somehow appeared inside the site (it is unknown if they arrived at Heavy Containment Zone or Light Containment Zone). The GOI forces then acquired SCP-096 and attempted to take it outside of the site, however, they quickly ran into STF forces which alerted the personnel at Gate A. A combined effort of TRT, STF, and GENSEC forces managed to take down all of the GOI forces. STF Agent "Freedom" and TRT Operatives Knox and Hangman moved to recontain SCP-096 and successfully did so shortly after. During this time, somehow the GOI forces reanimated and three of the four GOI personnel rose and managed to escape along with STF Agent "Rambo." Shortly after they escaped the facility, Hume levels raised and dropped significantly. One of the bodies were acquired, but managed to reanimate even after the other forces were out of the site. On the single acquired body, a strange disc was found, it was given to IS. The GOI took the radio of the STF Agent and attempted to ransom the Agent for SCP-173, this was subsequently denied by TRT Captain Knox. Shortly after the denial, Agent "Rambo" arrived on site with a machete and attempted to kill TRT Captain Knox, the Agent is confirmed deceased. It is unknown how the GOI forces reanimated, but if more information was known, it would of been possible to prevent the disaster this turned out to be. Due to the GOI acquiring Area-36's Frequencies, they were subsequently changed.

Knox's Personal Note:

"This situation was a major fuckup on many levels. According to recently revealed information, the site was attacked by them previously. Months earlier they attacked the site in an attempt for them to reacquire an anomalous book."

"STF Captain 'Freedom,' I wanted to send my condolences for the loss of Agent 'Rambo,' one of your new recruits. Although he was one of your agents, I stand by my decision of not giving the GOI SCP-173. Secondly, I shouldn't of had to assist you in recontaining SCP-096, I hope next time this doesn't happen."

"TRT Specialist Gold is directly responsible for the GOI forces escaping the site, he was instructed specifically to confirm the deaths of the GOI forces, he confirmed the death of only one GOI, but was unable to find the other three, he will be punished accordingly. Additionally he got 2 units killed by SCP-173, this was a fuckup Gold, you told me it won't happen again, prove it."

"All TRT Operatives, following this event you are expected to confirm kills of any hostiles that raid the site, we can't let this happen again."

"My final note is that Security Chief Vasquez and other personnel were heavily injured during the raid, hopefully we can prevent something like this from happening again."
